Mount Marion is the world's second largest high-quality spodumene mine in production. The main production base is located in the "Ten Thousand Tons of Lithium Salt Production Base" in the National High-tech Development Zone, Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, with a total area of about 1,000 acres and was rated as a national "green factory".
The "Ten Thousand Tons of Lithium Salt Production Base" was established in July 2013, and the current comprehensive production capacity of lithium hydroxide is about 50,000 tons per year. The third phase of the production line is planned to be put into operation in October 2020. After completion, it will have a production capacity of 78,000 tons/year of lithium hydroxide, 15,000 tons/year of battery-grade lithium carbonate, and 12,000 tons/year of lithium chloride.
